Hiking in the Zillertal National Park
"Where shall I begin telling you about this natural landscape, which reaches to the sky, green here and rocky there?"
The mountains surrounding the idyllically situated village are over 3,000 m high; and the 372 km² Zillertal Alps High-Mountain National Park makes them a walkers' paradise.
An impressive mountain landscape, which together with its flora and fauna will leave unforgettable impressions.
The wonderfully situated reservoirs in the high valleys can be reached by car and bus. This is where the valleys of Zillergrund, Zemmgrund, Stilluptal and Tuxertal together offer mountain hikers more than 200 km of marked trails.

The very close relationship between the cultural and natural landscapes, together with the resulting tranquillity is striking. Where else offers more relaxation?
